Do you love researching materials and making your own designs?
You are therefore a CREATIVE BRIDE.
Once upon a time in planning one's wedding, it was natural to involve all loved ones in this grand project, and so grandma sewed, mom cut out, best friend glued.... and around a table, perhaps sipping a nice hot tea, every detail was calmly planned.
But today the world has changed, everything is faster, more hectic, and work keeps us busy on a daily basis; so even if you are a do-it-yourselfer, in organizing a big and important event like a wedding you need to make the right assessments.
Surely you have already started researching on the Internet, however, I am sure that none of those images are giving you satisfaction, because you find that none of them fully reflect your style and so the idea of putting your own spin on it and creating your own favors, graphics, decorations on the tables, ....
The amount of work that needs to be done is substantial, but if you look around you have all the manpower you need, so down the line!!!
But let's take a step back, I was talking to you earlier about the right assessments, have you done them?
Don't worry if you're getting anxious right now, it's normal to get carried away by enthusiasm, emotion and not think things through thoroughly.
Let us consider the time.
It is always so little when in between research, you have to fit in appointments with suppliers, material purchases, dress fittings, make-up and only in the evening do you manage to carve out a few hours to carry out your plans and all this while you are still working.
Now let us consider theexperience.
For those who have never done it, organizing an event and making the arrangements may seem simple and fun, but without a professional vision that allows you to objectively and realistically assess what you really need to make your dream come true, making logical sense of all your choices, would lead to a disappointing and sloppy result.
So at this point the question arises, "wedding planner or do it yourself?".
Before jumping headlong into planning, ask yourself one more question:
"are you sure you want to risk your wedding being a fiasco and getting criticism from your guests because the decorations are not up to par with the event, because you couldn't make all the favors in time, and the details are not taken care of due to lack of experience?"
Well, I say don't give up on your creativity, but make the most of it and get help so you can get to the big day with everything ready, without rushing or pulling all-nighters to finish the favors or mass booklets.
This way you will not run the risk of stumbling along your path, you will avoid wasting time and money, but every detail will still have your touch.
Imagine your big day, the amazement in your friends' eyes at recognizing in the set-up made, your style.
